We recommend purchasing a color ring for color matching. The Salty Luxe Extension Color Ring is a compact and essential tool for stylists, featuring 20 high-quality samples from your range of hair extensions. At Salty Luxe Extension, we are constantly getting new shipments in and we don't always have an exact date for when specific items will be restocked. To make sure you don't miss out on the products you love, be sure to fill out the "ITEMS OF STOCK- NOTIFY ME" form found on the product page. Finding the perfect amount of Salty Luxe Extensions for your needs depends on a few key factors: your hair type, the desired volume, and the style you're aiming for. Generally, for a full head installation, most of our clients find great success with 1-2 packs of our 100% Full Cuticle Slavic Hair. Here's a quick guide to help you decide: Fine Hair: If you have fine or thin hair and are looking for a natural enhancement, 1 pack is usually sufficient to add volume and a bit of length. Medium Thickness: For those with medium hair density, 2 packs can achieve a seamless blend, offering both length and a voluminous lift. Thick Hair: If your hair is thick and you're seeking a dramatic transformation, 2-3 packs are recommended to ensure a luxurious and full appearance. Remember, our extensions are hand-tied and double-drawn, offering unmatched quality and natural movement. There are a few differences between Salty Hand-Tied wefts and Salty Luxe wefts. Hand-Tied wefts are hand sewn and thinner than Luxe wefts. Hand-Tied also comes in pre cut rows, where you have to fold the hair over for the desired length. We DO NOT recommend cutting Salty Hand-Tied wefts for the desired length as this will lead to unraveling of the wefts. Luxe wefts are a type of machine wefts but thinner to mimic hand-tied wefts. Luxe wefts can be cut for the desired length. Both can be sewn into by beading into the hair.

Salty Luxe uses 100% human, remy hair, As with any natural product, slight color variations are expected. So, while we strive for perfect color consistency, we cannot guarantee it with each batch/shipment of hair. If you find that the color is different than expected when you receive your hair extensions, please follow our return policy to make an exchange. Only using sulfate-free and paragon-free products. Avoid products containing alcohol, oil or ethanol. Use salon grade products, Yeah, we mean purchase them from your trusted salon. Not all products are extension compatible. Use spray leave-in conditioner or moisturizer on extensions to keep from tangling or drying out. Tie'em up! Braid extensions before sleeping or bed. Get lush. Sleep on a silk pillow. Brush regularly. To be specific, Hold the base of your scalp where the extensions adhere to the natural hair with opposite hand brush gently. 

Before getting in the tub, thoroughly brush hair to remove any tangles. Gently hand wash with Sulfate-free and paragon-free shampoo and lukewarm water. Never rub the ends together while washing. Repeat as needed, then add conditioner and leave for 5 minuntes. Avoid getting conditioner on the bead of the hair extensions. Be sure to completely rinse away shampoo and conditioner.

Easy, breezy, after your shower, gently squeeze excess water from your locks and blot with a cotton towel. Use a large wide tooth comb to detangle and straighten while extensions are damp.

Salty is a style, girl! So style your hair Salty Luxe Extensions while using our SLE Boar's hair bristle brush, Flat iron or curling iron.

Your vacations booked and we want your look to stay put all the while! While you're out of the office on vacation or just enjoying summer on the sand, we recommend using caution when applying and using sunscreen. Some sunscreens ( including spray sunscreens) have chemicals that can cause discoloration to the hair. We do not suggest vegan or all natural non-aerosol sunscreen to prevent discoloration. We also recommend following our swim care instructions for further vacation care. Salty luxe is not liable and will not replace hair for any discoloration that may happen due to swim or sunscreen use.

The ingredients cited to be the biggest offenders are: ​ Avobenzone ( Butly Methoxydibenzoylmethane) which is an oil-soluble ingredient used in sunscreen products to absorb the full spectrum of UVA rays. Octocrylene, which is added as a stabilizer as the avobenzone degrades in light. Together they are found in differing quantities in sun protections. ​ Sunscreens that you want to use is mineral based and not have the above ingredients. A few safe choices are: ​ Bare Republic Mineral Sunscreen lotion Sun Bum Mineral spa 50 Sunscreen Lotion Coola Mineral Body Organic Sunscreen ​ Salty luxe is not liable and will not replace hair for any discoloration that may happen due to swim or sunscreen use.

You can totally swim in your extensions, however, the minerals found in bodies of water can sometimes react poorly with hair extensions which may lead to the discoloration of your extensions. Takes these precautionary measures to protect your hair. ​ Get your hair wet before entering an ocean, lake or pool. Feet first! Apply a leave-in conditioner and then comb and braid your hair before entering the water. Rinse off immediately after leaving the water. For an extra measure, wash with light clarifying shampoo after water activities. ​ Salty Luxe is not responsible for any discoloration or integrity of our hair due to water.

We do not suggest dying our extensions as it can change or alter the integrity of the extensions. If you do choose to dye salty luxe extensions, our suggestion would be to use a Demi or semi permanent color. If you choose to tone please watch carefully. All coloring to Salty Luxe Extensions should be done by a licensed professional. ​ ​ Salty Luxe is not liable and does not replace any hair that is colored or toned ( including purple shampoo).
